Yale Players settling into life in New Zealand

"This is an extremely exciting partnership with Yale Rugby, knowing Greg well it was an easy fit. Yale is one of the best academic institutes in the World, and we would like to think that we are up there with the best. We place great focus on education with our young players, and this is another example of how we are targeting the relationship between education and elite sport. We are looking forward to working with Yale in the future.'' David Dillon-Chiefs ID Manager

This summer five Yale players are traveling to New Zealand to play Rugby with the Hamilton Marist club, and get skills sessions from the coaching staff at the Chiefs, as well as having the opportunity to train in their top of the range gym. This partnership is an exciting development for the program, and we are very grateful for the work being done in Hamilton by the Chiefs ID manager David Dillon. Dave, along with Dion Muir, will be over in New Haven in November to coach with the players and give a presentation on setting the correct environment.

The five players are: Will Roberts, John Donovan, Louis Metcalfe, Evan Brown & Luke Thomas
